  • Under the Lights!

    Maurice Hopkins
The later kickoff provided a perfect backdrop for the mighty 5th and 6th grade Tigers. With an intimidating run game that allowed the 6th Grade Tigers to keep the ball for the entire 3rd quarter, Ensworth traveled to CPA and came out with a big victory! They now head into their bye week a perfect 4-0. The 5th Grade Bengals may have had the biggest plays of the night with dazzling runs from Drayke Sharp, a huge interception from Edwin Tyler, and an improbable pass and catch between Max Averbuch and Nino Johnson. Their next contest is away vs Harding Academy.
  • 0 + 0 = 0

    Maurice Hopkins
The defending league champions visited Red Gables and were met at the door by a host of hungry Tigers! Both the 6th Grade Tiger and 5th Grade Bengal defenses pitched shutout performances! The emphasis this week was to pursuit the football and be the hammer...never the nail! The 6th Grade Defense was led by Parker Simpson, Rush Corn, and Stephen McIntosh. The 5th Grade Defense was dominant from start to finish, all while the offense was able to score 42 points. The young Bengals were led by the backfield of Drayke Sharp, Nino Johnson, Max Averbuch, and Hudson Ker. Way to go guys!
  • Sweet Victory !

After going down 6-0 early in the 1st quarter, the ferocious 6th Grade Tigers turned up the defensive intensity to earn a 14-6 victory against visiting Oak Hill! With strong performances on both sides of the ball by Matthew McGugin and Alex Lovan, the Tigers went on to shut out the visitors the remaining 3 quarters while scoring two home team touchdowns! The game was sealed with a great kickoff by Everett Sarb and an interception by Malcolm Tolbert.
