Nine members of the Class of 2024 signed letters of intent on April 17 to continue competing in athletics in college, joining 11 classmates who had previously signed.
On Saturday, April 6, friends, family, students, faculty, and alumni came out to support Head Girls' Basketball Coach, Mary Taylor Cowles, in her walk to raise awareness for multiple sclerosis (MS). Coach Cowles started her inspiring journey after an MS diagnosis in 2019.
Congratulations to the Ensworth Greater Nashville Area Scholastic Hockey (GNASH) team for winning the Predators Cup! Ensworth finished the regular season 11-2-1 to earn the 2 seed in the Preds Cup playoff bracket. The Tigers started their playoff run with a solid win over Mt. Juliet, followed by an OT win over Father Ryan. Ensworth then defeated MBA to advance to the winners' bracket of the Predators Cup championship vs Ravenwood. The Tigers fell in the first championship game but defeated Ravenwood 6-4 in the winner-take-all game to finish the season 15-3-1 and take home the GNASH Preds Cup Trophy. Congratulations to Head Coach Tim McAllister, Assistant Coaches Derek Kimbro & Taylor Franklin, Team Manager Henry Nozko, and all the Tigers on an outstanding season!
Ensworth's High School Girls’ Swimming & Diving Team finished third at the TISCA State Championship Meet. The Girls’ Swimming & Diving team won four individual State Championship events. The Boys’ Swimming & Diving team finished 8th to help Ensworth repeat as the combined State Runner-Up.
The Middle School Girls' Basketball team had a special guest to help get them ready for their tournaments. Kelly Hobbs, a mental performance coach, spoke to the girls about "growth mindset" and other key areas in preparation for their tournaments.
Ensworth’s High School swimmers and divers competed in the Middle Tennessee High School Swimming Association (MTHSSA) Regional Championships, earning top honors for its Combined and Girls’ Teams, among other individual awards.
