This class is tailor-made for our youngest swimmers. It allows parents to engage in aquatic activities with their child, with a strong focus on safety and creating a space where discovery promotes learning. The goal is to explore a range of effective methods to establish the critical basics of swimming for our youngest participants.

This class serves as an ideal progression from Infant Swim sessions or as an introduction to swimming for children starting their aquatic journey. Tailored for young swimmers beginning to seek independence from their parents, this program provides semi-private (2 children) lessons to ensure focused attention and beneficial peer interaction in an encouraging setting, without the need for parental involvement. Participants will develop confidence and swimming proficiency with an emphasis on water safety.

This class introduces an array of swimming skills that will serve as a foundation for participants in the years to come. At the heart of this class is a commitment to safety, ensuring students not only learn in a secure environment but also find joy in the aquatic experience. Our instructors are dedicated to harnessing each child’s innate desire for autonomy, turning it into a pillar of confidence. Additional areas of focus include effective kicking skills, floating, entry/exit methods, and breath control. This approach helps cultivate a safe and enjoyable relationship with swimming.
This class aims to increase swimmers’ confidence and comfort in the water through improved skills relating to strength and mobility. Participants in this class must be able to independently take a deep breath and submerge themselves, as well as have a basic understanding of floating and kicking techniques. Throughout the course, students will focus on building several new core competencies to enhance their aquatic abilities surrounding movement and water safety. This class is dedicated to advancing swimming skills to further enhance efficiency in the water, enabling swimmers to gain greater confidence in their capabilities. Participants work on increasing the distance they can swim across the pool and refining a variety of essential skills, including certain types of kicks, strokes, and breaths. For entry into this class, students must be capable of taking a deep breath and remaining submerged for 10 seconds, as well as having mastered competencies built upon in Beginner and Traditional level classes. This class is intended for older swimmers that may not yet have confidence in deeper water. Areas of focus include teaching swimming techniques that boost confidence and comfort while improving breathing, floating, and mobility skills.
